The Christian life is a missionary life. The Bible instructs us to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of he Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). We are also taught to be witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth (Acts 1:8). Since we are called to share the gospel, we as a church encourage one another to do that locally and globally.
This page shares information some mission agencies we as a church cooperate with and support, as well as provides details on of some of our members' missions trips and calls awareness to the lostness in the world.
HeartCry Missionary Society, founded by Paul Washer, is an organization that exists "to glorify God through the establishment of biblical churches by equipping and mobilizing indigenous churches and missionaries in the least evangelized areas of the world." HeartCry works in foreign countries to support indigenous missionaries in their missions and churches abroad.
The International Mission Board (IMB) is an entity of the Southern Baptist Convention. It exists with the mission of fulfilling the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20 by "evangelizing, discipling and planting reproducing churches among all peoples." Under current president David Platt, the IMB works to send men and women to every people, tribe, and nation that they may know and worship our Lord Jesus Christ.
